10 Kilowatt Philips Automatic Servo Tuned SW Transmitter 1.6 - 30 MHz. For the World Wide International shipping. Build in Huizen (NL)
The 10 KW Philips transmitter in the early 60's, as used for Scheveningen radio for (international) shipping. Reception took place in Scheveningen, and broadcasting took place in Katwijk aan Zee. These transmitters were also set up in the Cathedral in Kootwijk on the Veluwe. (photo)..
Philips made very nice Professional HF/Broadcast transmitters in the 1960s. The competition from the German Siemens and Telefunken was clearly present.
Unfortunately, this department is a thing of the past. Philips only makes expensive medical equipment for hospitals.
The HF NXP Chip division was sold to third parties in the USA and other Countries.
Servo part for fast frequency switching. Within 10 seconds on all frequencies from 1.6 - 30 mHz. set automatically by means of servo motors. Unfortunately, the control unit was not included, but with the current techniques for servo control, this can be realized on a Euro printed circuit board.

PA tank coil with Disk tuning, for stepless tuning and without switching / sliding contacts.

Anode RF choke with block C of 30 KV with the 10 KV Vacuum tuning C 20 - 1500 PF
10KVA Power supply. 7 KV / 1.5 Ampere in 19 Inch and carried out on rolls, weight 140 KG.
T520 -2 behind the tank circuit for frequencies below 3 mHz.
